About Us

Our little corner of paradise
After visiting this part of the world for ten years we decided to move here for the rest of our lives. In 2004 we found the perfect location and rebuilt the old house and stables into our dream house and two gites. So now the magnificant Pyrenees mountains have become our new adoptive home. Ken is originally from the UK and I have ventured down from Holland.

The city girl from Amsterdam has turned into a farmer. We have plenty of animals that have become part of our family. There are four llamas, two donkeys, two mini sheep, numerous ducks and chickens, six cats and a dog. A badger sett at the back of the house and visiting deer in the garden complete our little zoo. We grow our own vegetables and our chickens give us generous amounts of eggs.

We are very happy here and would like to share the beauty of the nature in this unique part of France with you.

Big gite

Our big gite has a lounge/kitchen with fireplace, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and washing machine. Of course you find all you need in the way of dishes, cutlery etc.

On the first floor we have two double bedrooms with big beds (1.60 x 2.00 m) they can be separated into two single beds. A camping bed for our little guests is available. Both bedrooms have a door to the balcony where you might have breakfast or a last glass of wine on an evening overlooking the mountains, the river Arac and the village of Massat. You can hear the sound of the river at the bottom of our field.

A good size shower room with double wash basin, towel heater and separate toilet are also situated on the first floor.

In case you would like to visit with more people we have our attic room with two double beds and wash basin.

Small gite

Our little gite has a lounge/kitchen with a woodburner. Dishwasher, fridge, microwave and small cooker. All one may need in the kitchen is available. You can make use of the washing machine in the main house.

The bedroom has a big double bed, which can be separated into two single beds.

Next to the bedroom is a bathroom with shower, wahsbasin and toilet.

Its a very cosy little house for two persons with a possibility to put up a camping bed for our little guests.
